"Nice little stop in Springfield OH, on our way back to IL! Food was great, all the staff were friendly! Could see they posted opening for more hours and needing help. Looks like a great place to work as well! I didn't get pics of the food but I had the prime rib French dip sub and it was fantastic! My husband had the fried cod and he said it was really good! We've saved it as one of our favorite stops on our travels so we can eat there again!"

"The food was great! Service was spot on! Atmosphere is a tad older, but clean. We enjoyed our experience, except for one thing...the owner's son. He would walk around with clinch fists, and would punch or slam doors. He obviously has some anger issues, because this isn't the first time this kind of behavior has been observed when visiting. While his antics didn't ruin the taste of the food, he did ruin the overall experience."

"The food was delicious, I got a breaded tenderloin and chips and an unsweetened tea for lunch. I ordered a pork chop dinner, with mashed potatoes & gravy and green beans to take home for dinner."

"Driving by often, I have always wanted to try this place. It had a welcome feel. We were given the choice to sit on either side...left is more of a traditional diner vibe, bright with lots of windows, and the right side is a more quaint bar side with louder music. This side overlooks the outdoor patio too. We chose the bar side. We received excellent service, friendly, efficient, and everything came out better than expected. We started out with the beef and vegetable soup, and a bowl of the French onion soup. Both were robust in flavor. The char on the French onion soup was perfect. Then the BLT came and had a generous amount of bacon. This bacon was thick and the most flavorful I've ever had. My friend ordered the veggie wrap with honey mustard sauce and she was so happy with it. She said everything was fresh with generous portions. They brew their own tea so this is also highly recommended. I cannot wait to visit again. There was a lot more seating than I was expecting. And the bar side had a cool 70s ambiance in a fun, tasteful way."

"We were able to have dinner at this restaurant recently. We met some other people who got the table so we didn't know how long the wait was. The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I got the chops with home fries and greenbeans. My wife got the breaded shrimp with coleslaw and the same potatoes. It wasn't long before we had our food. I have to say the pork chop was the best chop I have had in a long time. It was tender and juicy. There was a flavorful spice rub seasoning applied that was delicious. I could only eat one. The potatoes were also tasty. Cooked just right with a little seasoning. The green beans were just el detent and tasted great. My wife's shrimp was nice and crispy but could have used another minute in the fryer. The coleslaw had a hint of vinegar, which I didn't care for, but other folks liked it. Overall, the dinner was great, and I will be back for more chops and potatoes."

"Service was great. Was very busy but we were seated quickly and received drinks shortly after. Food did not take long either. Steak (not pictured) was phenomenal however the wings were quite small. They were good but definitely a little smaller than I'd have liked. The atmosphere is just...meh. Nothing special."

"Went here for the first time on Valentine's Day and the service was really good! Everything was great the only downfall I had was that the steak needed to be seasoned it was quite plain but steak sauce definitely helped. It was a NY strip and was very tender."
